The property was fairly clean and relaxing. The staff was helpful, attentive, and everything was really good. Thoroughly enjoyed the double room we had with nice view on old town. The staff was great: friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, in the heart of the old town, close to shops and restaurants, not too far from the park.
The only thing - and it's very subjective - was the light in the bathroom which was not good for putting make up on...

the hotel is stunningly beautiful and built in a historic style. the unit is huge, neat, and offers a nice view of the old town. 3. the coffee is very good. 4. the location is very central, not too far from Erlebnis Gradierwerk.

It met in full our expectations. The style was very much to our liking. The location was perfect for our particular requirements. The staff were always friendly and willing to help. The food was excellent as reported in previous reviews.
The weather was very hot - almost tropical - The position of our delightful room - on the 3rd floor and its structure made regulating the temperature a difficulty but a fan was provided on request. The hot weather was not the fault of the hotel!

Staff very helpful, rooms extremely comfortable and clean. Close to Kurpak park which was very pretty and ideal for jogging/walking. Picture postcard town centre very nice.
Not easy to find because of narrow streets and one way system. Would be useful to have specific directions when in Bad Salfuzen.

Being a Romantik Hotel, we excepted something very different than what we got, having stayed at several other hotels in the same chain we expected a high quality hotel with historical details and a high quality and attention to detail. What we got was a below average hotel room and a disappointment. We will not be coming back.
